Wexford Festival Trust welcomes the appointment of Mary Hanafin T.D. as the new Minister for Tourism

Deputy Hanafin is a regular patron of Wexford Festival Opera and has demonstrated a strong interest in, and support for, opera in advance of taking up her new cabinet responsibility. We look forward to working with the new Minister in achieving the shared ambition of further developing Wexford Festival Opera’s potential to maximise its cultural and financial contribution to the local and national economy and its increasing cultural tourism importance.
