Box Office opening hours
The box office is located in the foyer of the National Opera House, High Street, Wexford.
Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Not Open Sundays and Bank Holidays.
On performance days, the Box Office opens for two hours prior to performances.
How to Book Online
Once general booking begins (on Saturday 15 April 2017), click on ‘Programme 2017’ and choose an event, date and time. Once you have selected an event you will be taken to the secure purchasing section of the site.
Please note that Priority Booking is open from Saturday 25 March 2017, receive priority booking by becoming a Friend of Festival here.
Ticket and Seat Selection
All events taking place in the O’Reilly Theatre in the National Opera House have assigned seating.* Once you have chosen the event, date and time, simply select the number of tickets you wish to purchase from the dropdown menu and the system will automatically assign the best available seats to you.
Please note that the default selection will be in the stalls unless this area is sold out. If you prefer to sit in another area of the theatre, simply select ‘choose another zone’ or click the seating map on the right-hand side of the page and select your preferred area. Regardless of which area of the theatre you select, the system will automatically choose the best available seats in that section. These tickets will be added to your cart. If you would like to purchase tickets for additional events, choose ‘browse for more tickets’.
Once you have selected your tickets, click ‘checkout now’ to proceed. Your cart will display the event and ticket details, including booking fees. Please choose a delivery method and click ‘proceed to checkout’ to continue.
* For some events not taking place in the O’Reilly Theatre, seating is not assigned. Simply choose the number of tickets you require and click ‘add to cart’.
If you already have an account, enter your details in the login section. If you do not already have an account, enter your details in the register section. A valid email address is required to make an online booking. Please note that an * marks a required field.
If you are paying with a voucher, enter your voucher number in the box provided. If you are paying by credit card, enter your details in the relevant boxes. Click on ‘review and confirm.’ You should see the message ‘your order was successfully placed’.
Booking Confirmation and Receipt
The screen will now show your digital receipt, with your booking number and all the booking details. Please note your booking number in case you have any queries about your booking. You can also print your receipt at this stage. You will also receive an email at the address you provided confirming your order and booking details.

The National Opera House is fully wheelchair accessible with space for up to 17 wheelchairs per performance.
An induction loop system for hard of hearing patrons has been installed in the Main Auditorium.
