2010 programme saved Wexford Businesses €370,000 Following the success of last year’s programme, the Greening Wexford Festival Opera initiative will again be launched on Wednesday, 7th September at 10.30 am in Greenacres, North Main Street. During the launch, a report detailing the success stories of last year will also be available and should be of interest to any business looking to cut operational costs. The inaugural green business initiative, Greening Wexford Festival Opera, launched in 2010, saved 33 Wexford businesses an estimated €370,000 in 12 months. The savings were made by the simple and straightforward auditing and readjusting energy and water consumption, and through reducing waste in the participating businesses.
