Join Us in Celebrating Sustainable Fashion at this Year’s Festival

Wexford Festival Opera audiences are known for their fashionable attire, so we are encouraging all our audience attending on Thursday 24th October to join us in making sustainable choices when choosing our evening outfits.
Whether it's borrowing a bow-tie from a family member, raiding your wardrobe for that beautiful dress you wore many years ago, or finding the perfect pair of opera gloves in your local charity or vintage shop - every small change in the way we shop and the choices we make daily can make a big difference!
As part of this initiative we are giving our audiences the chance to win a pair of tickets to the performance of The Critic on Thursday, October 24th to celebrate EPA Green Night.
To enter all you have to do is join us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and tell us what sustainable outfit or clothing item you would wear and the brief story behind your choice. Make sure to include #EPAGreenNight so we see your entry. If you would rather enter by email you can do so with by providing the same information and emailing it to adeline@wexfordopera.com.
The competition will close on Tuesday October 22nd at 5PM and the winner will be notified after a selection process by WFO and EPA. Examples of a clothing item could be a bow-tie, cufflinks, gloves, jewellery, a bag, shoes and so on. Outfits do not have to contain the colour green, but wouldn't it be fun if they did?

Wexford Festival Opera or the EPA does not accept any liability for lost, delayed or incomplete entries. Entries will be judged on their effectiveness of how their outfit or clothing item choice showcases the message of sustainable fashion. Winners will be selected by a panel consisting of EPA, Wexford Festival Opera, and one independent member. The decision of the panel is final. Competition prizes cannot be redeemed as cash or credit.
