This year the Festival is working with over 150 primary school children from 2nd – 5th class in The Mercy School in Wexford which will see them give a special performance in the National Opera House on 22 October.

Working with Elizabeth Drwal over the last few months, the children are learning to sing parts of a specially adapted version of Pagliacci by Ruggero Leoncavallo.
On 22 October at 11am the children will gather in the seats of the O’Reilly Theatre in the National Opera House, joined by an audience of children from across the county.

They will give this special performance of Pagliacci, allowing the young audience to get a taste of Wexford Festival Opera for themselves.
