Wexford Festival Opera shortlisted for Best-Long Term Partnership with Ecclesiastical at 2023 Business To Arts Awards

Business to Art Award

Last week, Wexford Festival Opera and Ecclesiastical were shortlisted in the Best Long-Term Partnership category for the 2023 Business To Arts Awards. This nomination comes as the Festival and Ecclesiastical celebrate 10 years of partnership this year, sponsoring the Festival's Volunteer Programme.

The nomination helps to recognise how vital corporate support is within the arts industry, and this category in particular celebrates partnerships which have developed and thrived over many years.

Ecclesiastical's sponsorship of our Volunteer Programme each year enables us to support and nurture a volunteer base of over 350 people who are the heart and soul of our Festival. It also allows us to engage meaningfully with our community and audiences, expanding our programme and developing new initiatives each year.

Speaking of the award WFO Sponsorship Manager Adeline Minchin said, “The Business To Arts Awards provide us with a very important platform each year to celebrate and recognise the support of our sponsors and showcase their impact both on our Festival, and on the wider Irish Arts Industry. This nomination is particularly special to us as we mark a 10-year partnership celebration with Ecclesiastical in 2023 and embark on a special project collecting memories from our wonderful volunteer base."

David Lane, Managing Director of Ecclesiastical Ireland said, "The very survival of many charitable institutions is dependent on the volunteer sector and the dedicated volunteers at Wexford Festival Opera are no exception to this. Their professionalism is a perfect complement to the world class performances that we witness during every festival.  At Ecclesiastical, we are delighted to be associated with the volunteer team and their invaluable contribution to the Festival.”

Winners will be announced in September at the Business To Arts Awards at the National Concert Hall.
