The Wexford Festival Pop-Ups are a series of free multidisciplinary performance events featuring music, drama, singing and dance, performed in non-traditional settings around Wexford town.
Wexford Festival Opera will take to the streets of the town again this year with a series of daily Festival Pop-Up performance events.
These free multidisciplinary performances will feature music, drama, singing and dance and will be performed in various shops and businesses around Wexford town.
Performances will include artists from the Wexford Factory, the Festival's academy for young Irish singers, together with artists from the Festival's main stage programme. So you never know who you might see singing from a window on Main Street or performing in a Cafe when you pop in!
The nature of these events means they can be enjoyed by festival-goers, the local community, and the general passer-by! With over 20 Pop-Up performances planned throughout the Festival, there will be something for everyone.
A map detailing the events will be published in October to show the time and location of these daily events. So stay tuned and when you visit Wexford for this year's Festival, why don't you... follow the rabbit!
