The President’s Circle recognises those who support the Festival at leadership level. These donations form the core of the Festival’s success because presenting rarely performed or neglected opera could not happen without extraordinary philanthropic support.
Some members of the President’s Circle, such as Stephen Vernon, support a mainstage opera, while others, such as The Lord Magan of Castletown, help to make the ShortWorks possible. Peter and Nancy Thompson helped to initiate our Emerging Artist Fund in memory of their great friend Jerome Hynes.
Specific artistic projects which can greatly benefit from being funded by President’s Circle gifts include:
- Mainstage and ShortWorks productions
- The Orchestra and Chorus of Wexford Festival Opera
- Education, outreach and community-access projects
- Emerging artist apprenticeships
All gifts are donor-advised, reflecting your interests, and can be directed to whichever aspect of Wexford Festival Opera’s extensive artistic activities you may wish to support.
