Ami Hewitt

As a member of The Wexford Factory’ last year Ami sang the role of Stepmother in Alma Deutscher’s ‘Cinderella’, and The Actress in the premier of Conor Mitchell’s short work ‘Les Selinites’. She also gave a solo recital in st. Iberius church as part of the festival.

As an ABL aviation studio artist with Irish National Opera during the 21/22 season, Ami has enjoyed understudying the roles of Frasquita (Carmen), Idaspe (Bajazet), and Marzelline (Fidelio), as well as giving a number of concert performances.

Ami was a finalist in inaugural Dutch televised competition 'Aria', which aired on Npo1 in 2021. The Competition was in association with Dutch National Opera with the National youth Orchestra conducted by Leonard Evers.
