Imagine Wexford Festival Opera 75 years from now. Step into the future with a world-premiere song cycle from the brilliant minds of acclaimed novelist Colm Tóibín and composer Conor Linehan.

Across three nights, experience 15 brand-new songs (5 premiered per night) with the composer himself at the piano. Imagine the landscape of Wexford’s 150th Anniversary. This is a world where the tides have risen and the digital pulse has quickened – where robots fall in love and perhaps even sing arias. Yet, despite these changes and beyond the machines, some things endure – the power of the human voice, the intimacy of the duet, and the soaring beauty of music.

Join us for a late-night experience – part speculative fiction, part musical masterpiece – as we look towards the next three-quarters of a century
