Non-accessible content

Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of the Wexford Festival Opera website, we are aware of some limitations, which we are working to fix. Below is a description of known limitations. Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for the Wexford Festival Opera website:

  • PDFs: Some documents in PDF format lack a correct table heading tab order or heading order and some content may not be fully accessible.
  • External links open without warning: Some links open a new window (or tab) without warning.
  • Links: When a download link refers to another web page, it opens a new window or tab.
  • Heading Hierarchy: Some pages do not present content in a hierarchical heading organisation.

  • Third party content: Some pages on this website include embedded content (such as iframes) from third-party websites. These may include, but are not limited to, our ticket booking, donations and newsletter signup pages. As we do not control the accessibility of this external content, it may not meet the same accessibility standards as our own website. We encourage users to contact us if they encounter any barriers while interacting with such content.
  • Videos: The website uses YouTube to host videos. You Tube videos are embedded in the website using iframes. Some of the components of these iframes have known accessibility issues including:
Video player – keyboard accessibility: We are aware of some issues with the keyboard accessibility of video players on the website.
    • Video captions: Some of our videos do not have captions. We are continuously working on adding them to more videos.
    • Audio description: Videos on this website do not have audio description.
