The Festival’s much-loved Impossible Interview returns for a very special 75th anniversary edition.

Blending theatre, music and imagination, this unique event invites you to step across time and encounter one of opera’s great figures as you’ve never experienced them before. Through wit, insight, and carefully chosen musical moments, past and present meet in a conversation that is by turns revealing, entertaining and thought-provoking.

Leading the conversation once again this year will be acclaimed writer and critic Michael Dervan, whose insight and curiosity will guide our distinguished, and entirely unexpected, guest through an unforgettable exchange. For our anniversary season, a very special figure will be summoned, but their identity remains under wraps! You’ll simply have to join us to discover who dares to answer the questions.

An unmissable celebration of opera, history and 75 years of Wexford Festival Opera.
