As the primary school year comes to an end, we’re celebrating the enthusiasm and creativity of the students who’ve been taking part in our Let’s Sing Together programme, one of Wexford Festival Opera’s free education initiatives.

This year, over 400 children from various schools throughout Wexford county have been discovering the world of opera through fun, interactive workshops in singing, acting, movement, and storytelling - all led by our Education Outreach Co-ordinator, Elizabeth Drwal.

The programme continues in September when pupils will visit the National Opera House, meet the conductor, and perform alongside Wexford Factory singers in a special daytime schools performance on 23 October.

This is just one aspect of our education initiatives and our commitment to inspiring audiences – young and old.
