Valeria Gorbunova is a Russian mezzo-soprano from Korolev, Moscow region. She is currently studying at the Moscow State Conservatory under M. A. Shutova, having previously trained at the Astrakhan State Conservatory and the Moscow Regional Music Academy.
In 2025, she won third prize and the audience award at the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Bern. Recent roles include Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Olga (Eugene Onegin), and Nenila (The Enchantress) at the Nizhny Novgorod State Opera. Valeria is known for her expressive stage presence and rich mezzo tone.
